Welcome to This Space. I am a doctoral level clinician with a variety of mental health experience. I started out in community mental health agencies working with psychiatrists to treat depression, anxiety, ptsd, and schizophrenia in teens and adults. I have since transitioned to private practice where I help clients, mostly adults work through grief, depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and stress management.
If you've been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, you're not alone. Life's transitions, relationship struggles, stress, anxiety, and depression can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself and uncertain about what comes next. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, family challenges, relationship concerns, grief, anger, maternal mental health issues, women's issues, and life transitions. Many of my clients are balancing personal and professional responsibilities while trying to care for everyone around them, often at the expense of their own well-being. Together, we'll create a supportive environment where you can slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with what matters most. My goal is to help you build confidence, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful changes that support a more fulfilling and balanced life.
Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I love collaborating with clients as they embark on their wellbeing journey. I have spent 25 years in the helping professions. I work with a variety of clients, including those within oppressed communities: LGBTQIA, BIPOC, those struggling with maternal mental health, psychosis, depression/anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, grief, intimate relationships, and I am a poly-friendly therapist. I understand there are many paths to being healthy and whole. I attended UT Austin for undergraduate work in psychology and sociology, and Lamar University for a Master's Degree in Counseling & Development. I find great reward in witnessing a client's growth, healing, and change.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to helping individuals learn how to cope with the stressors of daily life. I have been working as a mental health professional since 2010. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Family Studies and Human Services at Kansas State University in 2011 and received my Master's degree in Social Work in 2017 from Wichita State University.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor.
