Thank you for stopping by! I am excited to get to know you and begin this beautiful journey of growth. Whether you are starting a new journey or you’re looking to pick up where you left off, I’m glad you stopped by!
It is my passion to work with people, as they challenge themselves to grow and evolve. Many of us experience challenging feelings of depression, anxiety, relationship stress, and stress of dealing with the many transitions of life. At times, these challenging feelings can make us feel alone or isolated from our communities of love and support. I believe that I am here to walk alongside you and provide insight and support as you begin to see yourself grow and reach the goals that you set for yourself. I primarily work from a narrative perspective, but I pull from many different approaches to create a safe and efficient environment for my clients to explore and reflect on themselves and their situations.
Different phases in life can feel stressful, anxiety-provoking, or nearly defeating. Finding a counselor can feel like a difficult step, but a step in the positive direction for growth and more self-compassion and understanding. Finding a counselor who can create a supportive and safe environment for growth is essential. Whether it is due to life adjustments such as, changes in relationships or your environment that are causing feelings of anxiety, stress or depression, it is essential for a counselor to establish a role that is conducive for growth, safety, and trust. Becoming a client's advocate and support is a crucial.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I am also a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have experience in populations who are impacted by grief and loss, trauma, sexual abuse.
Feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed? You don’t have to face it alone. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and Registered Play Therapist, helping children, teens, and adults navigate life’s challenges with care and understanding.
Through play therapy, children find a safe way to express, process, and heal. Teens and adults receive guidance for trauma, anxiety, and major life transitions. My approach is compassionate, individualized, and focused on helping you move forward with confidence.
I bring experience from juvenile and community settings—including Webb County Youth Village Detention Center, Webb County Treatment Program, United Independent School District, and PILLAR—where I’ve supported clients and mentored clinicians.
Together, we can create a space where you or your child feel truly seen, heard, and empowered to grow.
Life can be hard for all of us and those challenges look different for everything. No one has it all figured out, myself included! Therapy offers the time and space to process the hard moments and work to find a sense of balance again.
I earned my Master's in Social Work from Boston College and bring 18 years of experience in the mental health field. Before moving into private practice, I worked in community mental health and within school systems, supporting children, teens, families, adults and fellow helping professionals.
Today my practice is centered around adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma and stress. Many of my clients are young adults working to define who they want to become often without realizing how much they already are.
