True healing isn't just about managing symptoms — it's about addressing the whole person.
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who believes that lasting stability and happiness require working on three levels: your physical experience, your emotional patterns, and your spiritual wellbeing. When all three are addressed together, real change becomes possible.
I work with clients to identify what's getting in the way of the life they want — and build the tools, insight, and coping strategies to actually get there.
I hae a collaborative approach in working with clients with a wide range of backgrounds.

I am a board-certified Psychiatrist (medical doctor) providing virtual care throughout NY and PA. I taper medications. This means most of my patients want to safely reduce or ultimately stop taking psychiatric medications, and I guide them through that process safely and at their own pace. I include therapy in my 30-min follow up sessions, though do not offer weekly 1-hour therapy sessions. Many of my patients also work with a therapist.
I have been in practice for the last 5 years primarily in the intensive outpatient setting. I offer a safe, compassionate space where your story is heard and respected. Together, we’ll work toward understanding your experiences, building coping skills, and creating meaningful change.
Hello! I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), and I am committed to helping you feel supported and understood from day one through your life's challenges with compassion and care. My training and clinical experience have equipped me to work with people facing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel respected and heard. My goal is to help you build insight, resilience, and practical tools for lasting emotional well-being.
I am a New York State licensed clinical social worker who specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy with extensive training in psychotherapy. I work with teens, adults, families and couples, treating issues including anxiety, depression, loss and addiction. In addition to a social work degree from New York University, I also trained at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in its Family and Couples Treatment therapy program.
This is my first career; it has always been my dream to help people. I never envisioned doing anything else in life. I’ve worked in a myriad of settings, ranging from satellite clinics based on early educational settings to social adult daycares (and everything else in between, including hospitals and intensive day treatment). I have completed training to be able to work in these settings, including courses on TF-CBT, motivational interviewing, and mental health first aid.
I’m Mirla Vega, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist dedicated to helping adults and children navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, and the emotional patterns that often stem from early life experiences. My therapeutic style is warm, direct, and grounded in cultural awareness. I focus on creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore difficult emotions, understand your patterns, and develop tools that truly help you thrive.
I am trained as an educator teaching dialogue communication skills, emotional skills and social awareness for navigating a complex and diverse world. Becoming a therapist is my second career path, and this background has allowed me to engage with more of the depth of factors contributing to distress in people’s lives. I bring a wide-ranging approach to understanding the depth of harm and challenges in your life so that we can move towards thorough therapeutic solutions.
