I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2018. I was drawn to therapy through my own mental health journey of recovery from childhood trauma, depression, and anxiety. In training, I've worked in the education system, substance abuse recovery, and family trauma with teen boys. I am a certified NARM (neuroaffective relational model) therapist, specializing in attachment trauma and somatic mindfulness.
Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, supported, and able to show up as you are. I bring warmth, compassion, and genuine respect for each person’s story, while helping clients work toward greater clarity, healing, and growth. My approach is collaborative and personalized, with care that honors your experiences, values, and the unique path that has shaped who you are.
I enjoy helping people treat a multitude of concerns such as anxiety and depression, stress, relationship issues, trauma, life transitions, addiction/substance use concerns, perinatal mental health, family planning, and pregnancy loss.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a variety of professional experiences. I have a unique competency and passion in working with young children and their caregivers (8 and under) as well as working with First Responder families.
I obtained my MSW from the University of Pittsburgh and my most recent jobs have included working as a child therapist and Early Childhood Mental Health consultant, I obtained my LSW in 2020 and my LCSW in 2024. I also am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, trained in EMDR.
I work with adults and high school-aged teens struggling with mood disorders, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, thoughts of suicide, alcohol or drug use disorders. No matter the size and scope of your struggle, therapy can help. A willingness to take the first step is all you need.
Compassionate, realistic, and person-centered care is the foundation of my services. Foundationally trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, I believe "walking the middle path" is a guide for so many difficulties we all face. In February of 2020, I attended the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Bootcamp. I had further training in ACT and DBT in 2021.
Anxiety, intrusive thoughts, sadness, substance use, mood swings...so many of us struggle with these. Our culture sends us confusing messages about how to approach these problems. Ignore it? Self-medicate? Try to just fake it? Buy more, consume more, do more? It may be time to stop, examine your life and decide what kind of life you want to be living.
Nice is an EMDR-certified therapist who works with children and adults, providing a safe and nonjudgmental space to process overwhelming feelings. She helps clients move from feeling stuck toward healing and meaningful progress.
