

I am a transmasc, queer therapist. My ongoing, personal journey of exploration definitely informs my work as a psychotherapist.
I’ve been working as a mental health professional for over two decades,I have been helping people navigate systems and life changes throughout my career. My goal is to ensure that everyone feels valued and supported in my practice – gay, lesbian, bi, queer, exploring, neurodivergent, polyamorous, kinky, ASE, intersex gender expansive, genderqueer, transgender, nonbinary, and those who are exploring – I want everyone to feel safe, seen and heard in my office.
The focus of my work over the past 25 years has been on fostering a welcoming and inclusive space for individuals across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum – especially those who are questioning or wanting to explore their queer and trans identities in a safe, inclusive space.
I provide individual therapy and work with older teens, young adults to elder audlts who are exploring their gender identities.
Mental health has long been treated as the forgotten side of healthcare — and for me, that's exactly why it matters so much. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving clients across California through telehealth and in-person care, I specialize in helping people navigate depression, anxiety, and ADD/ADHD. I believe that when mental health struggles go unaddressed, everything else in life suffers — and that healing is not only possible, it's necessary. When I'm not supporting my clients, you'll find me out in nature, getting lost in a good movie, or discovering new music — small reminders of the joy and balance I encourage my clients to find for themselves.

I’m a bilingual (English/Korean) licensed clinical psychologist with over 13+ years of experience helping adults (20 and older) navigate anxiety, ADHD, relationship and family concerns, identity questions, and major life transitions.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both evidence-based techniques and a deep respect for the human spirit. I integrate therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based methods with holistic tools drawn from meditation, Eastern/Western philosophy, and positive psychology. I have worked in the field of social services for over 31 years. I have experience working with adult survivors of child abuse, child neglect, domestic violence, commercial exploitation, and rape. I have experience working with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, divorce, family separation, and caretaker fatigue. I also have experience working with adults dealing with significant life/career changes, and those dealing with crisis situations.

The last thing you want to be doing on your fifteen minute break is looking for someone to talk to about your problems and the general state of the world, but you're here, and I'm available to listen. I'm not going to use a bunch of fancy words I learned in grad school or make you feel like I'm the expert on your life. You know you best.

My clients come ready to do real work. I meet each person as a whole person, not as a diagnosis or as a presenting problem. I work primarily with adults and young adults, using EMDR alongside CBT and solution-focused and person-centered approaches that support real change. Our focus is on what hasn’t moved and why, so you’re not just managing symptoms but creating genuine, lasting movement forward. My background ranges from offering mental health and art therapy services to individuals experiencing anxiety, stress related to life transitions, grief and loss as well as trauma recovery. I completed my dual Masters Degree in Art Therapy and Counseling at Southwestern College in New Mexico. I'm a Licensed Therapist in CA and enjoy supporting people create a life worth living.
