Hi, I’m Crystal. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas State University. I’ve spent the last four years focused on counseling and therapy, along with nearly 10 years of prior experience in clinical social work and case management. My background allows me to support clients navigating complex life challenges with both compassion and practical guidance.
I work primarily with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and other trauma-related experiences. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you can process your experiences, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change.
I'm a virtual only therapist with experience in helping adults and teens understand life change and human development.
I currently have in-person, walk-and-talk, and virtual availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Therapy with me is about co-creating a hearth - a therapeutic space for warmth, restoration, and growth along life’s journeys. I work with individuals and families who have experienced the effects of anxiety, depression, substance use, addiction, relational trauma, and complex trauma. These effects often leave us in chaotic cycles of either burning things to the ground or feeling cold and alone. I also am passionate about working with neurodivergent folks (ADHD and Autism) who have maybe felt outcast in their search for connection. Together, we rest and reflect on whatever creating a warm home means to you.
My personal interests include:
Do find yourself having BIG responses to everyday triggers, stressors, and annoyances? Do you ever feel like your past trauma is creeping it’s way into your present relationships? You might be feeling overwhelmed by the weight of your emotions, wondering when there will be a moment to just catch your breath. Let's work together, as I engage you in deep conversation that questions old belief systems that just don't work anymore.
I believe every person has a unique story and deserves individualized, compassionate care. As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I provide psychiatric evaluations, treatment, and medication management for adults in a supportive and collaborative environment. My goal is to help patients feel understood, empowered, and supported on their path toward improved mental wellness.
I bring an open-minded, compassionate, and warm presence to our work together. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and understood without judgment. I’m naturally inquisitive and curious, which means I will thoughtfully explore your experiences with you, helping uncover patterns, strengths, and new perspectives.
Hi, I’m Maddie! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a specialization in trauma. I have spent most of my professional time working with children and adolescents so I know the vast childhood experiences anyone coming into therapy may bring.
I find it an immense privilege to be a trauma therapist and work with my clients on the hardest topics they may have experienced. I want you to find safety in our relationship to explore what has happened to you and who you want to become from that experience. I am trained in EMDR, an evidence -based treatment for trauma and love bringing in creative ways for my clients to experience the healing that can come through EMDR. I want you to feel that each hour we bring is your own and your goals for therapy are always at the forefront of my mind and work.
When I am not working as a therapist, I enjoy a variety of creative activities including cooking, baking, and crochet. I also love spending time outdoors or swimming to recharge and reset myself for my next day of therapy.
My primary goal is to provide a helping hand to clients in need. Clients will find that I am able to listen and provide helpful strategies to help navigate through whatever journey they find themselves on. Whether it be a young child, adolescent, or adult, I am able to keep them at the center of the therapeutic process and help them discover peace and purpose.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston and obtained a Masters of Education in Counselor Education from the University of St. Thomas. I was an educator for 13 years including 5 as a school counselor/administrator.
As a school counselor, I have assisted students with disabilities, trauma, mood and personality disorders. I have also worked with parents who find themselves in a cycle that they feel cannot be broken. My intention is to help clients identify hurts, hang-ups, and habits that keep them from living to their full potential and work through them.
I am EMDR trained and provide trauma informed care. I have also utilized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and various interventions from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to treat clients with anxiety, depression, and self-harming behaviors.
Whatever it is you are facing, I am willing to listen and provide sound care. As a fellow human, I understand the needs that can arise from trauma, hurt, and misunderstanding. If you are in need of an ear to hear and a heart to care, please contact me. I am here to help.
