Hi, I’m Annie Mathew, a psychologist in Texas. I work with individuals and families who are feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them - emotionally, relationally, or internally. Many of the people I support are navigating mood disorders, trauma, or complex family dynamics and sense that something deeper is shaping their experiences, even if they can’t quite name it
As a board certified psychotherapist, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! I’ve been practicing for 10 years, I work with a plethora of inter-generational clients aged 21-90 who are struggling with anxiety and depression and trauma.
As a chaplain, I take a psycho-spiritual approach and work with clients assisting with intercultural issues, blended family dynamics, religiosity challenges and grief & loss.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor passionate about helping individuals, families, and teens navigate life’s challenges. I provide personalized, evidence-based therapy in both English and Spanish, ensuring culturally sensitive care. My approach creates a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered. I help clients build coping skills, manage stress, and achieve personal growth. Together, we work toward overcoming obstacles and creating meaningful change.
I’m a native Houstonian who grew up in the struggle, so I understand resilience on a personal level. That background shaped not only my strength but also my ability to truly connect with others who are navigating life’s challenges.
As an educated therapist, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to the work I do. My clients often describe me as funny, personable, and warm—the kind of therapist who just gets it. My style is down-to-earth, authentic, and supportive, and I create a space where you can show up as your full self without judgment.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need someone who will listen and help you see things from a new perspective, I’m here to walk with you through it.
