At my practice, I am dedicated to supporting individuals and families through life's challenges with compassion and evidence-based therapies. My goal is to empower you to lead a more fulfilling and authentic life.
My style is warm and collaborative! I want my clients to feel heard and validated. I work with teenagers and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and difficulties managing overwhelming emotions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to cope with the challenges they are facing. I will help you with patterns of behavior that are no longer serving you.
Brindo servicios de terapia en inglés y español. Availability from 9–11 p.m. sessions for life after bedtime routines. Relationships can deeply affect how we feel about ourselves and our lives. When there is conflict, distance, stress at home, or cultural pressures, it can feel exhausting and lonely.
I help individuals, couples, and families work through relationship challenges, family stress, parenting concerns, women’s issues, and identity or cultural experiences. As a bilingual therapist, I strive to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and understood.
Hi, I’m Cindy and I want you to know this: you don’t have to go through it alone. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply tired of carrying it all, therapy can be a space to exhale, reflect, and gently begin again.
I come to this work not only as a clinician but as a human being shaped by my own lived experience. I’m a proud Trinidadian-American who migrated to the U.S. at a young age, and I know what it’s like to navigate different worlds, expectations, and identities. That background helps me show up with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and deep respect for the unique path each client walks.
I’m currently pursuing my Doctorate in Social Work at Simmons University, and my clinical experience has focused on supporting adults through anxiety, trauma, life transitions, burnout, and issues related to identity and belonging. I have a special heart for clients who are used to being the strong ones, the caregivers, the first-gen trailblazers, the ones who hold space for everyone else.
In our work together, you can expect warmth, honesty, and collaboration. I use a relational and strengths-based approach, integrating tools from CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, but more importantly, I meet you where you are, honoring your pace and your story.
This is your space to feel seen, to feel safe, and to explore what healing could look like for you. If you’re ready to begin, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Empowering you to become "The Best Possible You" is my ultimate goal. Life is full of challenges, disappointments and successes. How you process these experiences may impact your quality of life. While I do not purport to be able to change difficult situations from the past, I will partner with you in understanding and addressing current life issues in a way that allows you to embrace challenges, learn from mistakes, and celebrate success.
I received my Ph.D. from UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, a clinically focused school with significant access to psychological and medical training. I transitioned to private practice in 2018 in order to allow for deeper work with clients. I enjoy working with clients on a variety of issues, but identity, meaning-making, and life transitions are of particular interest.
