My name is Jena Bennett and I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for 13 years. I specialize in trauma and grief counseling. Currently, I work with individuals and married couples. I believe when people find help and healing there is a ripple effect of healing in our culture.
Hi, I'm Melinda. If anxiety, depression, anger, or substance use has you or your family feeling stuck, I understand what you're facing. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a behavior teacher, lead special education teacher, and annual review and dismissal (ARD) facilitator, giving me deep insight into the challenges families face within the education system. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, drawing on that background to help you build real skills and lasting change. I love what I do, and I want to help you become the strongest version of yourself.
You look like you have it together—but inside, your relationship feels strained, communication breaks down, or anxiety and overthinking take over. Whether you’re a couple stuck in the same arguments, a teen struggling emotionally, or an adult feeling overwhelmed, you don’t have to figure this out alone. I provide therapy in San Antonio for couples, teens, and adults who want real, lasting change. I specialize in “couples therapy,” “teen counseling,” and “therapy for anxiety and relationship issues,” helping clients improve communication, manage emotions, and break unhealthy patterns.
Being in this helping profession for 30 years and 20 years within therapy, my approach is based on an individual's needs. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have worked in almost every therapeutic arena. From outpatient, inpatient, individual, group to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, I gained experience in multiple avenues. I predominately specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy but also allow for a mutual approach to achieve your goals and needs within this therapeutic process. We will work together for success.
My name is Alexandra, though most people call me Alex.
Life can be messy, overwhelming, and at times downright exhausting. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, disordered eating, grief, relationship challenges, or navigating a major life transition, it can feel like you've lost your footing or aren't quite sure who you are anymore. I work with adolescents and adults who are looking for a space to show up as they are—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that they need to have it all figured out.
I have meaningful experience supporting individuals navigating eating disorder recovery, helping clients build practical coping skills to manage urges while also exploring the deeper stories, beliefs, and emotions that shape their relationship with themselves. I also work with individuals processing grief and loss, recognizing that healing isn't about "moving on," but learning how to carry what matters while continuing to move forward.
If you feel like your mind is running in a hundred different directions, you are missing out on moments, struggling financially, and in your relationships, it might be time to get help. Whether it's trying to manage the chaos of ADHD, dealing with mood swings, or feeling like you’re always anxious or stressed—life can feel overwhelming. I get it. It's hard to balance it all when your emotions and focus aren’t cooperating. That’s where I come in. My goal is to help you find that calm amidst the chaos. We’ll work together to manage emotions, reduce the overwhelm, and rediscover the clarity and joy in your life. With therapy, medicine and coaching, we’ll tackle what’s holding you back so you can feel more in control. I have been exactly where you are at and would love to help you.
