i love working with creatives, queer or neurodivergent folks, & anyone unpacking identity, trauma, & burnout from a world that demands too much. if you’re struggling with people-pleasing, relationship conflict, perfectionism, a recent adhd diagnosis, family dysfunction, or just trying to survive late-stage capitalism—you’re in the right place.
Hi, I’m Elda-Rosa “Dr. El.” I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) in North Carolina, as well as a Clinical Consultant and Certified Professional Coach serving clients nationwide.
I believe healing happens when people feel seen, heard, and understood — not judged. My work is grounded in compassion, cultural awareness, and real-life experience, helping individuals navigate grief, trauma, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and substance use recovery with honesty and support.
At 12Evolve, I believe healing and personal growth are lifelong processes. Whether you are navigating grief, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, or recovery, meaningful change often begins with self-awareness, support, and the courage to take the next step forward. ✨
I believe we are born innately good, creative and self-actualizing. It is my greatest gift to companion with others on the full spectrum of their human journey. Healing happens when we feel heard, seen, and "gotten" by another. Relational trauma and societal conditioning can cause us to doubt our inner sensings and disconnect from our deepest truth. I specialize in helping trauma survivors reclaim and trust what is most authentic in themselves. My clients are often sensitive, intelligent, creative and motivated to heal.
It takes courage to reach out for support. I offer a free 20 minute phone/zoom consultation to ensure that we would be a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you.
I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, genuine, and collaborative. My sessions are a space where you can show up as you are — no judgment, no pressure — just honest conversation and compassionate support. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you and find practical, meaningful ways to help you feel more grounded and at peace.
I'm an Autistic, ADHD, and queer therapist specializing in support for LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent adults navigating identity exploration, unmasking, burnout, and trauma, including complex, religious, systemic and medical trauma. My approach is liberation-oriented, trauma-informed, and grounded in somatic and IFS-informed practices. I work best within depth-oriented relationships and especially enjoy working with fellow creatives and artists.
I stand in solidarity with all people facing oppression. Legislation, colonization, and systemic harm have real impacts on our wellbeing and that context matters in our work together. With me, you won't have to explain or mask who you are; you can show up fully and start from there.
