Board-certified in Adult and General Psychiatry in 2016. Fellowship trained in Forensic Psychiatry. Since 2016, I have worked in the field of addiction, forensics, and private practice, as a clinical and forensic psychiatrist.

As a clinician with many years of experience working in schools, I also collaborate with teachers and other professionals when appropriate. Hi, my name is Stella Fischl, and I’m a therapist based in New York and Connecticut. Many of my clients come to me feeling confused, overwhelmed, or just unsure about their next steps. I work with both teenagers and adults, and I’m particularly passionate about helping people dealing with complicated, unhealthy relationships. I also enjoy working with teens and young adult clients, particularly those healing from trauma or navigating life transitions.

I graduated from NYU and have 10+ years of experience working with adults and families in a variety of settings, including hospital psychiatric emergency room and and community clinics.
