My educational and professional background has rewarded me with the experience and privilege of working with a vast array of clientele that has allowed me to recognize the importance of flexibility, strength, and adaptability as a therapist.
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adults navigating anxiety, OCD, stress related disorders and life transitions. My style is warm, relational, and gently challenging. I want you to feel truly seen, but also supported in moving toward real change. I value genuine connection and create a space where you can show up as you are without judgment. I pull from evidence-based approaches to help you understand your patterns and build practical tools that foster growth.
I’m Jen DiGianni, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adolescents and adults through individual, family, and couples therapy. I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and women’s mental health concerns, including postpartum anxiety and depression.
I believe that the strength and confidence you’re looking for already exist within you. My role is to help you uncover those strengths and build the tools needed to manage life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
I'm a clinical social worker in NYC with a degree from Hunter College. I have over a decade of clinical experience, which began while working as a case planner in the NYC foster care system. At Hunter I was accepted into the Child Trauma program through the National Child Traumatic Stress Network and received specialized training in trauma-informed, attachment based modalities including Child Parent Psychotherapy.
I have extensive experience working with care-givers and parents of young children navigating parenting challenges, from adjusting to a new baby to processing and healing from significant attachment disruptions. I also trained in Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders through Postpartum Support International to help support clients through the challenges of the preconception, perinatal, and postpartum phases of family planning.
I am a certified Level 1 AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) therapist and I am currently completing certification with the Internal Family Systems (IFS) Institute. These models invite clients to go a little deeper than in traditional talk-therapy, but to do so in an intentional, thought out, and collaborative way that results in a sense of catharsis, release, and self-compassion. These approaches benefit many types of clients but are particularly helpful for those struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, with a history of interpersonal, and childhood trauma.
I work often with clients who identify as "people-pleasers"-empathetic, "emotional sponges" who often find themselves prioritizing others at the cost of their own well-being. are incredibly tuned in to the world around them, but can become overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, and burnout. My integrative approach helps them develop stronger boundaries, reconnect with their needs, and find renewed balance and purpose.
