I firmly believe it is never too late to seek help to live your best life. My name is Dr. Brittany Herbert. I am the sole founder and creator of Never-Too-late Solutions, a private psychotherapy practice that aims to meet all clients where they are and provide a safe and supportive environment. My practice is a client-centered, judgment-free zone where I aid clients in doing the work necessary to pull back layers, allowing us to explore feelings, thoughts, and behaviors.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and NY licensed creative arts therapist with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. As a clinical social worker, I am licensed in New York, Connecticut, Maryland and Virginia. I have a Master in Social Work from Fordham University, a Master of Science in Dance/Movement Therapy from Sarah Lawrence College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University. I have worked in various mental health settings including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, school settings, nursing homes, residential treatment center and outpatient mental clinic. I am certified in Multidimensional Family Therapy (MDFT), Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) and is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP). I am currently pursuing a certification in Somatic Experiencing (Advanced Level), TF-CBT, and AEDP therapist (ES Level 1). I have experienced working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples.
In an open, empathetic and judgement free space you will learn to look within and truly understand the struggles and symptoms you're facing and the effects they may be having on your body, mind and soul. By utilizing different therapeutic treatments (CBT, DBT, Mindfulness) we can work towards growth and living a full and meaningful life!
Many of my clients appear high-functioning on the outside but internally struggle with anxiety, trauma, overthinking, relationship patterns, or persistent feelings of guilt and self-doubt. They often understand their patterns intellectually yet still feel stuck repeating them. I specialize in EMDR therapy, an evidence-based approach that helps the brain process difficult or overwhelming experiences so they no longer feel as emotionally intense, allowing clients to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional balance.
I help college-bound teens and young adults work through repetitive thoughts of worry, insecurities, productivity pressure, people pleasing, loneliness and a range of other obstacles. In the therapy space, clients find their confidence so that they can build healthier relationships with family, friends, and partners. I specialize in working with disordered eating and body image concerns. My approach is warm, open, and straightforward.
I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes that therapy works best when it feels like a partnership—not a one-sided process. I approach each session as a space where we work together to better understand your experiences, patterns, and goals.
