As a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help could be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! I’ve been practicing for 9 years, with my main focus on clients aged 18-65 who are struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar and ADHD.

Compassionate, Evidence-Based Psychiatric Care Rooted in 25+ Years of Nursing Excellence.
"I believe that mental wellness is a journey that requires a partnership, not just a prescription. My approach is grounded in Relationship-Based Caring, where I prioritize 'being with' my clients to understand their unique life stories. I combine my deep clinical background with a warm, non-judgmental style to create a safe space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered.
Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, or life transitions, my goal is to provide holistic care that addresses both your mind and body. I am passionate about cultural sensitivity and enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life, ensuring that your care plan respects your personal values and heritage."
I bring over two decades of experience as a Registered Nurse across various healthcare specialties, which provides me with a comprehensive understanding of how physical health impacts mental well-being. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing (PMHNP) from Purdue University Global and hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University.
Whether working with adolescents, adults, or couples, as a licensed clinical psychologist, I aim to provide a warm, non-judgmental environment in which my patients can examine the challenges that have emerged in their lives and explore barriers to meaningful change. I utilize an integrative approach that combines insight-oriented and goal-directed interventions informed by Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Attachment, Relational and Psychodynamic modalities. My couples work draws from Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy models.

My path to being a therapist involved listening to feedback I've received most of my life. For many years I experienced others coming to me in crisis, whether I knew them well or not. I often wondered why others felt comfortable sharing with me and why they were confident in coming to me for assistance. What makes me suited to be a therapist is a natural talent and motivation to assist others in transformation. Providing therapy is my second career; previously, I worked as a hospital administrator for many years. I went into the profession of health administration for compensation and prestige. Security was my motivation at the time. After several years of not feeling fulfilled, I decided to pursue what was missing and lead with my heart
