I’m a Licensed Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor with experience working with substance use and co-occurring mental health across multiple levels of care. I’ve supported clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and recovery.
I believe therapy should feel authentic, not overly clinical or surface-level. I value genuine human connection and creating a space where you feel seen, understood, and not judged. My goal is to help you make sense of what you’re going through, build coping skills that actually work, and create meaningful, lasting change—not just temporary fixes.
Hi y'all, I'm Malanna, rhymes with Madonna! I’m quite the unorthodox therapist, so I’ve been told, because I approach mental health with the same sincerity that we take with our physical health. I have a lot of respect and appreciation for the people who sit in front of me and trust me with their vulnerability. I'm big on cooperation; pairing your self-insights with my expertise. I'll do my best to help you highlight all of your hidden strengths, buried wins, and natural gifts that life can make us lose sight of! I currently offer telehealth services but I can guarantee it’ll be just as good as seeing me in person!
Provides services from holistic and spiritual lens in addition to a cognitive behavioral approach.
I’m an Indo-Caribbean therapist who understands what it’s like to grow up in a home where emotions weren’t talked about, and being strong meant staying silent. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to explain your culture—you can just be.
We’ll go at your pace. I don’t expect trust right away—I earn it by showing up with honesty, softness, and respect for your story. Whether you're dealing with grief, anxiety, burnout, or identity shifts, I offer a space where you can exhale, untangle what you’ve been carrying, and begin to feel again.
I work well with immigrants and children of immigrants, especially South Asian and Indo-Caribbean adults, who are navigating generational wounds, people-pleasing, high expectations, or feeling disconnected from themselves.

I’m not your average therapist. My style is down-to-earth, collaborative, and real. I don’t believe in “fixing” you — because you’re not broken. I believe healing happens through connection, curiosity, and understanding your story in a new way.
