I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My training includes a pre-doctoral fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at Dallas Medical Center. For over 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate challenges, discover strengths, and create meaningful change. I’m fluent in Spanish and deeply value providing a welcoming space for Spanish-speaking clients and families. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care—I strive to meet clients where they are and support them in building resilience and lasting well-being
Your experience with me will always be grounded in compassion, honesty, and respect. I believe people grow when they feel heard and understood, so I work hard to create a space where you feel safe being yourself. I am collaborative and down-to-earth, and I will meet you exactly where you are while helping you move toward the life you want.
I have provided counseling services for over 20 years, helping clients work through trauma, PTSD, anxiety, panic, stress, family challenges, and women’s issues. I specialize in supporting people who feel stuck in painful memories, overwhelmed by anxiety, or disconnected from themselves after difficult life experiences. My approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, and deeply respectful of each person’s story. I believe healing often involves more than traditional talk therapy, which is why I incorporate approaches that support the mind, body, and spirit. I am an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and I use EMDR, somatic therapy, attachment-based therapy, interpersonal therapy, and other trauma-informed approaches to help clients move toward relief and healing. When we work together, you can expect a caring space where you are accepted as you are and supported at a pace that feels safe.
I’m an LCSW who helps individuals, couples, and families build relationships that feel safer, calmer, and more connected. My style is warm, grounded, and practical, rooted in trauma-informed and attachment-based care. I don’t expect perfection from you—together we’ll look for clarity, simple tools that fit your real life, and steady support you can rely on.
