After being immersed in straight-cis Christian culture for years, I finally came to terms with my own queerness and now enjoy helping my clients enjoy the peace of authentic living. I work with both straight and queer clients, couples or individuals. Regardless of how you identify, I want to help you get un-stuck so you can thrive in all areas of your life.
My Positive, Storied Approach to Personal and Professional Growth
Everyone’s life is a grand story, filled with twists and turns, good things and bad things, all grounded in personal life themes. I consider it an enormous honor to be invited into someone’s story and believe that everyone has the power to take control of their stories, write the next chapter, and then make it happen.
Be the hero of your own story! Together we can talk about everything from what you want to include as you move forward, what you want to leave behind, and even the cast of characters in your life! Through thoughtful and genuine exploration, we both gain a better understanding of you and what you bring to the world including your strengths and talents, meaning and purpose. Through the process, my goal is to empower you to create a meaningful story you can be excited to step into.
I am an NCDA Certified Career Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. I have PhD in Counselor Education and a master's degree in mental health counseling. I currently serve on the boards of both the National Career Development Association (NCDA) and the American Counseling Association (ACA). I bring my strengths, training, and experience to our career and counseling work together.
It’s always been a privilege for me to hear others’ stories and have them trust me with the vulnerable parts of themselves. My clients tend to appreciate my warm, down-to-earth approach. I have a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary, and I work well with individuals with depression, anxiety, self-harm, trauma, anger, and relationship issues. I enjoy supporting young adults, parents, and those struggling with past trauma.
Hi, I'm Maddie! I grew up in a small town in Western New York and spent most of my early days running around outside playing in the mud. From teenage to young adulthood I struggled significantly with anxiety, GI issues, and trying to fit in with who/what I saw around me. Once I moved to Colorado, I had complete culture shock and started rethinking who I am and how I want to show up in the world. After learning strategies first hand, and attending grad school for Art Therapy, I started finding my way. Now, I'm passionate about helping others find empowerment and connection to the things that matter most to them. I'd love to work with children, teens and young adults who are questioning their identity or living with anxiety or difficult symptoms after going through trauma.
Hi, I’m Laura and I specialize in helping women and teens heal from trauma, whether it shows up as anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, or feeling completely disconnected from themselves. I experienced trauma growing up and know firsthand how it impacts the whole body.
Through Somatic therapy, Brainspotting, and EMDR, I help clients release what’s stuck in their bodies and rebuild trust in themselves—because healing isn’t about “getting over it,” it’s about feeling safe again.
Like many of my clients, I struggled a lot and felt like life was harder then it should be. Having done the work of therapy myself, I am now a licensed professional counselor. Before entering private practice, I spent thousands of hours in various different practices working with clients that struggled with depression, and anxiety. I enjoy working with men, women, teens and adults (14-45). I've found that undiagnosed neurodiverse clients and folks with traumatic family backgrounds are frequently attracted to me and so I've been putting more emphasis on study and research in these areas.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have worked with youth and adults with anxiety, ADHD and overwhelm.
I have been a counselor for eight years now, and I have helped a wide variety of client's seek solutions and relief during that time. I think that counseling should be a collaborative process, and I am very flexible in being able to meet clients where they are it in order to help them get to where they want to be.
